Here is a running list of the books that I have read thus far in 2020. My goal is for this list to keep growing.

Witten by former major league pitcher Orel Hershisher after his remarkable 1998 World Series winning season, this is a good read, especially if you like baseball. There is a chapter called “Argyles, Low and Away” that is arguably the most important in the book. This is the chapter where he discusses his relationship with Jesus Christ.
This book follows Jamie Morton and the encounters that he has throughout his life with his town's pastor, Charles Jacobs, who Jamie first meets when he is young. Pastor Jacobs is obsessed with electricity, and the book takes some really dark turns after a lot of character build up. It starts slow, but will eventually have you on the edge of your seat. Stephen King really knocks this one out of the park. I love his writing style. I have not read a lot of Stephen King books. I read Misery when I was in 8th grade or so, and I started The Stand last summer while on vacation, but did not finish it. However, Revival, along with Elevation, has made me a fan of Stephen King. I plan to read many more.
Faith: A Journey for All was a thought provoking read, and I developed a newfound respect for Jimmy Carter. He was a great man of faith who has done a lot of great things, both as President of the United States and during his life after the presidency. If all Christians (myself included) acted like him, the world would truly be a much better place.
Elevation, by Stephen King, is not a long book. My wife says it’s actually more of a novella. However, it was great. In fact, I devoured the whole thing in one sitting, while at the beach this past June. It's the story of a freak medical thing, but also one where a group of unlikely people end up as great friends.
And When She Opened the Closet, All the Clothes Were Polyester: A FoxTrot Collection (Volume 35)
Foxtrot is my absolute favorite comic strip. This book was hilarious.
Ole Man on the Porch: The Trooper
One of the friends I had growing up had a dad who was a state trooper in North Carolina. This is my friend's dad's book. I really liked it. His dad was a super nice guy who I liked a lot.
